Stucco remediation is a process where stucco is completely removed from the house walls and repairs are made. New flashing and drainage mats are installed, then a new layer of stucco is applied.

How long does a new construction home take to build?

The time frame of a new construction home depends on the size and complexity of the design. Typically, townhouses are constructed in about 14 – 18 weeks. Larger single-family homes can take approximately 8 months.

Will I be able to be involved in the design of my new home?

Yes! Your input is a large component of constructing a new home to ensure you are 100% satisfied with the outcome.

McDermott Construction is a licensed contractor. Following building standards are the minimum, but we go above and beyond for our clients.

Repairs & Remodeling

What is the difference between a renovation and remodel?

Great question! Home renovations and remodels are interchangeable terms, but there is a difference. Simply put, a renovation would include repairs that are required, whereas a remodel is a change in design.

Can I do some of the work myself?

No. We are happy to work with your needs as a homeowner, but we prefer to do all of the work ourselves to ensure the safety of you and your home.

This depends on the complexity of the job. We will cater to your needs as much as possible and try to keep you in the comfort of your own home, but some remodels may require you to leave you house to ensure your safety and that the job is finished in a timely manner.
